Feeling Tone

Cultivating a sense of your feeling-tone is a very helpful practice. Simply put, this means being aware of how you feel in any given moment.

Many of our problems come from unconscious thought patterns creeping up over a period of time. If we can bring those into our awareness earlier, then they tend to be easier to deal with.

This is one of those things where the benefits are very wide ranging. Being aware of how you feel can help with the obvious well-being things like anxiety and stress, but also your experience of life can improve. Whether eating food, walking, sex, or engaging in conversation.

Having more awareness of how you feel in any given moment is almost universally helpful.
