Another fantastic Blindboy podcast episode with some really interesting takes on approaching emotions in terms of mental health. Well worth your time if you’re interested in this kind of thing.

Blindboy likens anxiety to scratching an itch. If you brush against a plant that makes you itch, that’s just what life throws at you, it’s unavoidable. If you keep scratching it, you’re making the inevitable thing that has already happened worse for yourself, you’re making it worse than it needs to be.

This also applies to a whole host of other states of mind. Anger, fear, frustration, depression… the list goes on.
