What is a Seedling?

As clichéd as it might feel, a lot of our day-to-day problems tend to come from our childhood.

When you’re struggling with some aspect of your life, try picturing the part of you that’s finding it hard as a childish, confused version of yourself.

This is a helpful exercise because in many ways, you actually are trying to reason with the child version of yourself. If you are harsh and unsympathetic, then this inner child is going to feel more upset and confused.

If you’re kind and compassionate and loving instead, then your adult self will feel better too.
