We humans have developed an incredibly nuanced, and complex way of communicating with one another.
The advent of the phone call took away the body language aspect of this.
The advent of the text message has taken away pretty much everything else.
Text messages are fantastic for some applications: simple organisation, “thinking of you” messages, lols with m8s.
But, I strongly believe that if what you’re talking about is serious in any way, do it on the phone, or better still in person.
There’s way too much left open to interpretation in a text message.
