Time Hiding

In the past, I’ve meticulously planned my mornings, deciding what to do at each stage and allowing just enough time to complete each task.

One morning recently, I hid all my clocks and sat down to work. Without a marker of how long I’d spent working, I ended up in a state of flow that I otherwise wouldn’t’ve. I’ve since put back my time-tellers, but time hiding feels like a good tool for the toolbox.
