Useful Procrastination

The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life.

When I was at university in Derby, sat in my standard-grade student hall bedroom, I had an essay to write. But rather than sit down and write that essay, I decided to learn how to touch type.

My thinking was. If I learn how to touch type, when I write the essay, I’ll be able to do it quicker.

Now, I’ve no idea what that essay was about, or what was contained within it, but I can still touch type.

I wrote about this being a negative thing a while back, but that just goes to show that there’s good and bad in everything.

We’re likely gonna end up procrastinating, so lets make that procrastination as useful as possible!
